You're Invited: To serve on Work Crew for Family Camp May 2-4, 2025!
Who Serves on Work Crew Weekend: High school Campaigner students and YL leaders from our area.
Where Are We Going: Young Life's Carolina Point - 19 Pinnacle Point, Brevard, NC 28712
What to Expect: We will be spending the weekend serving families (from our area, as well as Tri-County/Clemson and Spartanburg, SC) behind the scenes in various capacities: in the kitchen cooking, baking, doing dishes ('pits'), dining hall servers, lifeguards, etc! Our goal is to grow in our relationships with Jesus and as Campaigners in our schools by working hard, spending quality time together, and HAVING FUN.
Pricing: $10 - All food and housing is covered! (We have decided not to book a bus; instead students will be riding up to camp with leaders).
Registration: Please register below to secure your spot. (NOTE- we only have 40 total Work Crew spots, and we fully expect them to fill up - so don't delay, sign up today!)
Lodging: We will be sleeping in cabins on camp!
What to Bring: Comfortable work clothes, closed toe tennis shoes, rain coat, warm clothing, coat, modest bathing suit (especially for lifeguards), toiletries, medications, Bible, a notebook, and ONE COUNTRY/WESTERN OUTFIT for Saturday evening activity.
Linens: Bedding, pillows, bath towel will NOT be provided! Please bring your own bedding for the weekend.
Special Diets: Please let us know below if you would like to make us aware of any dietary restrictions.
Times: We will meet to leave at 4:45PM on Friday, May 2 from the Party City parking lot (6110 Bayfield Parkway, Concord, NC 28027). Please eat before you come or bring dinner to eat on the car ride. We will not be stopping on the ride up. On Sunday, May 4, our hope is to be back at Party City by 3:00PM. Students will be given a bagged lunch for the ride home.
